Changing and adding menu links

This may seem to have little to do with the game, in general, but for instance. Has anyone had experience with the menu, and how the buttons work. How might i add a new button to the menu that opens up a different .exe on my computer. This may seem proposterous, but i wonder if it were possible to change the links on the menu to open new exe's that i might add new features. to test i would try to open winword.exe with it. Anyone have an idea where to program the links on the menu, and how they open?

I'm not sure about this...could work but maybe it is implemented in the game as hard-coding, so it would be impossible to make it.
