corzine wins...now i'm afraid
The new jersey governer election was held between 2 major candidates the republican and multi millionair doug forrester, and the ex-republican now democrat multibillionair corzine. the billionaire won after a 2 month long battle of almost complete mudslinging, from all there campasign commercials i know more about there closet dwelling skeletons than i do about there positive accomplishments (probably nil). this of course is occouring right after the resignation of our gay/corrupt/billionare governer.
so the reason for this thread is to ask where is a nice state to move to? i really don't want top put up the new governers BS that is inevitably on its way.
Re: corzine wins...now i'm afraid
NJ maybe the nost corrupt state in America. I cant believe they let this go on.
Re: corzine wins...now i'm afraid
Once again, I'm glad I don't live in NJ. ~D
(not that PA doesn't have it's own corruption *cough*pay raise*cough*)

Where in PA you live, anyway?
I'm from NJ and live in PA, HOW THE ***[CENSORED SO I'M NOT BANNED]*** COULD NJ ELECT SUCH A ***[CENSORED SO I'M NOT RAPED BY THE BANSTICK]***?
I think all the conservatives in NJ are too busy at their Klan meetings or too lazy (prob. the latter of the two) to go vote. And as a proud North Jersian, I can say that.
Re: corzine wins...now i'm afraid
Then move people....MOVE!~:)
Re: corzine wins...now i'm afraid
If you're a Democrat, Michigan is nice. Jobs are scarce at the moment, but you never get any political scandals. Jennifer Granholm, the Governor, is good enough that people have talked about amending the Constitution so she can run for president (she was born in Canada). Senators Levin and Stabenow are both highly principled, and both were among the 17 senators that refused to vote for the authorization to use force in Iraq. That showed some wisdom and forethought. Congressman Conyers is an institution, and he goes out of his way to conduct useful investigations that nobody else will touch.
I would suggest East Lansing or Ann Arbor, particularly if you are near college age. Babes a-poppin'. ~D

Texas No State Comes Close. We Eat Them For Dinner And Then Rape Russia
Re: corzine wins...now i'm afraid
Hey! Stop NJ-bashing!
Unless you live here.
It really didn't matter who won - even though Corzine was a forgone conclusion. Corzine wouldn't fight corruption or ease the budget woes, because he's a Democrat, and a good friend of those people in the Assembly. Forrester couldn't get the Assembly to do anything because he's a Republican.
And NJ Conservatives:
A) are small in number
B) have a hard time finding conservative candidates to vote for
*Sigh*
