Hello, and welcome to the update for "Fall of the Empire", a map mod for BI. This mod will use the entire 199 settlement limit, and will contain historically accurate settlements and regions. This is where all the updates will be posted.
This is what has been done so far. Britain now contains 12 regions, a huge improvement on the standard edition with just 4 regions.

That's brilliant. I am in strong need for a new map for my mod. When you will release it?
I don't know, just as soon as I get it finished. I noticed some of your new Roman skins and they looked absolutedly amazing. I can do a bit of skinning as well. If you want we could combine our mods.

Two questions -
- How many hidden_resorses will there be?
- When, roughly, it will be released? Because I must decide if to include it to v 3.0, wich is allmost ready, or to v 4.0
I'm not sure when it'll be finished, just depends on how much homework and stuff I get. It will take a quite a good few weeks. I might be getting someone else to add armies and stuff into the new settlements, as I'm not sure how to get a cities coordinates to place the armies in it. If it's trial and error that could take a very long time to complete for probably about 150 new settlements.
BTW what do you mean by hidden_resources. Sorry but I'm quite new to modding maps.
King i suggested this idea to others...what do you think about adding villages on the map as resources? They may signify extra population provinces, and gave income bonuses...:bow:
which image editor do you use to change the pixel colors on the maps for different settlement regions? i have a few but i'm no good at using them, i dont even know how to change the pixel colors to make a new region.~:confused:
Just a clarification; in the thread 'new map for BI in progress' you have said that you are planning to make a map that is both larger than vanilla BI and has more cities. Is this thread a continuation of that one or is this an entirely new project? ~:confused:
