Re: NYC photos
Good photos. I especially like the second one, though I think the third captures how I remember and characterize NY best. I think my mom has some good ones lying around, I'll try to find them.

Has to be one of the most recognizable places in the city. I almost always get my broadway show tickets from that little booth there. Great prices for sameday shows for any of you visiting. Many 50% off or more.

Re: NYC photos
So many sites I know form my visit there. I was lucky to stay only a very short walk away from times square. Also as Gwain said that booth rules! 50% of most tickets mind you the waiting line can be quiet long.......

Re: NYC photos
Soly, you are a really good photographer. Your perspective shots are my favorite- like the second picture in the first set. Beautiful.
Edit: a little advice from someone obsessed with photography- when you take a picture like the one I mentioned above, try to take it from the side of the street, rather than dead center. It makes a more interesting perspective.

There is no doubt - you are an exceptional photographer.

Re: NYC photos
My favorite is the brick building with the polished aluminum vents, turbulent gray skies in the background. I tend to shoot pictures like that a lot. They seldom turn out as nicely as that one did though--very nice, all very nice.
Interesting too: I just sent in a resume to Morgan-Stanley. In the picture of the busy sunny street I can see their blue awning in the center. Lets hope that's a good omen ~:). Is that the office south and west of Central Park (on Park Ave., iirc?).
I miss my old Nikon 8008 (it was stolen in a burglary along with all its accessories). While it wasn't a professional camera, it had a lot of fun features. I could do a lot of interesting things with it that I can't do with the digital camera I currently have access to.

Re: NYC photos
The second picture is beautiful. I think that, in this case, the center position was just right.
