1.3 Patch Installation problems?

Has anyone else had this issue? I downloaded the patch from 3 different sites, and each time I try to install it, it gives me an error (6001) and tells me to close running programs (there are none), to clear the temp folder (done) or to check my internet connection (not relevant).

Yes, I had that, too. The Apothecay helped me here, you have to delete or rename the Installshield folder on your PC, then it works. Or at least, it worked for me, and obviously for others as well.
