Tulips

Is it just me or is the German faction a hard nut to crack. I have entered into battle with the germans, who now hane only two regions left, with equally sized forces (as a roman) and been totally wiped out - TWICE. This is never a problem with other barbarian factions. Any tactical tips on how to get the "one-up" on the germans are welcome.

(I have deliberately left out all information about my unit composition and tactics so not to exclude them in the answers. They will be "revealed" at a later time, so all you hardens RTW veterans can gloat at my stupidity).

PS I have not added anty patches - this is the 1.00 version.
