Prologue buggy after v1.3
I played RTW for a long time and eventually got to a point where it was kind of boring so I took a break about 6 months ago. Now I came back, saw that there was a new patch and installed it. I kind of forgot the controls so I decided to go through the prologue for a little bit and get a quick refresher. Well some time into the prologue I hit the End Turn hourglass button and the game just crashed. I got enough info in that time though so I started a normal Imperial Campaign. So far the campaign has run smoothly. No crashes or anything but the prologue seems to be buggy now. It's not a big deal because it's just the prologue but I'd still like to know why it's like this. Has anyone else noticed this or am I the only one who even plays RTW now?
Edit: I have another question as well. Are campaigns from v1.2 not compatible with v1.3?
None of my previous campaigns load now. I'm probably going to install RTR so it's not a problem but again, I'd still like the know what's wrong.
2nd Edit:
I just keep thinking of more questions. Does RTR work with v1.3 or do I need to go back v1.2?
Does Bugfixer work with RTR?
Re: Prologue buggy after v1.3
.
I started playing RTW with BI (an consequently 1.3) and don't remember the prologue being buggy. ~:(
AFAIK, earlier savefiles aren't compatible with the latest patch.
No idea about RTR.
Again AFAIK, Bugfixer is only compatible with profesorspatula's BI unlocked factions and more hordes mod.
Hth!

Re: Prologue buggy after v1.3
I also had the Prologue crash on me... again the normal campaign is fine, but the prologue seems buggy for no apparently reason.
Re: Prologue buggy after v1.3
I pretty much did the same exact thing you did. I didn't play RTW for a while. Installed patch 1.3 and started playing again. Decided to refresh myself by doing the Prologue. Partway through, I hit End Turn and get a CTD. The Imperial Campaign seems to be working ok, though.
I have since stopped playing RTW again. I haven't touched it in weeks. Right now I am waiting for the new patch to see what it will have.
