Senate goes on rampage modding v1.3
I've got a v1.0 campaign mod to work with 1.3
Only problem is that the senate will always attack the Julii on the first turn then goes after either Brutii or Scipii.
I've edited descr_strat to correct the original stance towards each other but it still occurs plus clicking on the senate tab causes a CTD.
I've made unmodded 1.3 into a provincial campaign and the senate seems to work properly. So what am I missing to get this to work properly, or need to add?
Re: Senate goes on rampage modding v1.3
Found the problem
faction romans_julii, comfortable caesar
superfaction romans_senate
denari 5000
You have to add the line in bold to descr_strat if it's a map from a previous version.
Anyways for fun I tried to make Carthage a superfation to see if I got senate missions but it was a no go but the game seemed to run normally.
Re: Senate goes on rampage modding v1.3
Yes, without the superfaction key word the senate behaves like any other faction:
- doesn't issue missions anymore
- attacks the other Roman factions
Another interesting side effect is the other Roman factions don't share maps anymore if the superfaction word is omitted.
Re: Senate goes on rampage modding v1.3
Has anyone tried to make other superfactions...or can there be only one?
Re: Senate goes on rampage modding v1.3
I'll try that, but I have Borsook's Enhacement Pack.
Of course, 1.3
