Quick Reply/Edit Problem (plus a smilies' one)
Since 2 days, every thread page I load (and I mean only them, eg I don't have any problem with forum or subforum ones) has "errors", something that must be related with the unresponsive quick reply icon. Thus it's impossible for me to use this function, even if I left-click on the said icon and "open in a new page" - which gets me to the regular "post reply" screen.
Furthermore, when I click on the smilies' list, nothing happens :(
I can live without quick reply and smilies, but I wonder what's causing all this, given that I don't face any similar issues elsewhere.
Thanks for the help (not sure if this should be in the tech forum tho).

Which browser are you using L'Impresario?

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? It helped me and others.

Just realised I can't use anything on the reply panel, no quoting, bold, text/font changes, nothing at all.
I'm ashamed but I do use the most magnificent IE6.

Thanks , though I guessed so and had done that already but my PC froze in the process so I was thinking it wouldn't work. Tried it again a few hours ago, and although the whole system went to a virtual halt, it seems it has been successful.
Thanks again for the advice:)

L'Impresario, you might consider installing a cleaning programme that gets rid of all cr@p on your comp after each session. I can recommend Gould's freeware programme Windows Cleanup!
Good luck.

While we're at it, do you know of any good and reliable registry cleaners, preferably free?
