Replays are now sync in 1.6!!!

1.6 is officially the best patch so far. So people go get it.

Heres a bit of preview for those who didn't have it.

Smooth multiplayer actions.

Rome pilumbutari increase frome 680 denarii to 720 denarii.

Paladins get +2 to armour or def.

Franks axe herbann now have effective against armour.

Golden band now cost 510 and have overall at/def 16/16.

lombards berskers are weaker in defence its seems, not sure but got to check.

Skirmishers seems to be able to fall back better by themselves.

I did a quick windiff on the export_descr_units.txt file for changes to the stats...

These axe units have a melee attack reduction of 2, but are now armour piercing:
Frank Axe Heerbann
Francisca Heerbann
Night raiders
Berber axemen

Golden Band attack increased by 4 to 16, defensive skill increased by 4, slightly better morale & cost increased to 510.

Saxon Hearth troops cost 20 denarii more.

Plumbatarii 1 lower javelin attack to 10, down 4 ammo to 10 ammo, cost increased to 720.

And for vanilla Rome...

German Spear warband has a secondary melee sword attack of 7.
German Berserkers down to 2 hps, increase to 2 armour and cost increased to 930.
Cretan archer missile attack increase by 4 to 11.

WOW berbers axeman and night raiders have armour piercing!!! I am going to do more test on them!!! Francisca I am not so sure I am going to have a look.

Did a couple of games with the franks with 1.6 super smooth mode!!! They are so roman now!!! I also notice that the Francisca have a longer missile range, need someone else to confirm this. The axe heerbann are reliable but they seems to have a problem against warcry inf and romans inf. Need more games to test them out, but if francisca have armour piercing that will truely rock my world mwahahahahahaa!!!!

I had a couple of games with the golden band and I notice that they are very good and reliable in melee now even without the zerkers around, they are pretty good against roman too though I think the axeman would still be a much prefered choice. Golden band have 6 for amour while axeman have 7 for amour, wonder how that would affect them in terms of surviving against arrows or in melee.

Smoother game you say does that mean that units now obey commands fully when grouped? The patch wont install for me:san_undecided: its say's "no prior installation of RTW was found" and then it terminates. i have the game on a 2nd hard drive and i formatted my c: drive im guessing that's the prob. anyone get a similar prob?

Yes ur troops will not just stand there and look stuipd while you click frantically for them to run away from a dozens of blood thirsty berserkers and their axe wielding friends.

Uninstall and install your RTW again, that works for me as I had the same problem before.

Un-install both games then reinstall reinstall 1st patch if i can find and then the other patch~:pissed: grrr that's a couple of hours grrr. Thanks for your help though.

If unit commands are now obeyed fully this will improve my performance greatly as its caused me many un necessary losses in the past. fingers crossed.

The Replays being fixed does make me Happy though. And there was much rejoycing.
