Wow, I didn't know they kidnapped people in the north. I thought Kurdistan was safe. Hm? :san_shocked:

Interesting to note the demands of the kidnappers though isn't it . Stop training the police ..the interior ministry police , now I wonder which of the many terrorist groups has a little problem with the terrorist group that is running the interior ministry and its police :san_wink:
So...did Germany stop training Iraqi police? If so, why? Isn't a greater victory worth more than a single life?

Yes , the Iraqi government stopped sending them police trainees , as for why , you will have to ask the Iraqis that .

Perhaps the interior ministry was not satisfied with the training courses content , it seemed to lack the important elements like kidnap , torture , murder and voter intimidation .:san_laugh:

When they found out she was not, they set her free. German government promised to pay money by funding some social projects of that group - hospitals and so....
If this is true then it is good news. Only sad thing is that Iraq is still a playground for political and non political criminals.
But do not think that Germany, because it is not crazy about playing wargames anymore, is not able to deal with criminals.:san_wink:
