Hi, when I was a child I remember reading about a British spy called (Alexander?) Scotland who joined the Imperial German Army in WWI. When the Armistice was signed he stayed on in the army eventually reaching the rank of General. Right up until the end if WWII he was in place in the Wermacht reporting back to London. I even vaguely remember a film made about it. I've googled till my fingers bled but no luck. :san_grin: Has anyone else heard of this guy?
No wonder I couldn't find a thing on this guy, his name was 'Germanized' to Schottland.

In one of his earliest roles, Micheal Caine plays one of Hitler's aides.
