I modded some chainmail some time back, but not sure if its what you are looking for.

Ooer! Hmm, I think the problem in your chainmail lies in that it's basically a flat texture you've used on the model. There's no feeling of depth or shadow. Adding highlights and shadows to create a realistic effect is a tricky business. I prefer just to edit the original RTW chainmail when attempting to improve the default mail texture.
Ditto, I used the clone tool in PSP to make myself a nice big piece of chainmail out of the RTW textures.Quote:
