how is it that ALL my settlements are losing thousands of dollars

so far ive played most factions and basically all of them start of with each settlements losing thousands of dollars, is this a bug? and btw when pressing F and bringing up the money tab it always calculates the next amount of money wrong and i mean waaaay off

The EB team has raised the prices for unit upkeep by a large amount. Countries didn't start keeping standing armies until the 1600s. So go ahead and disband anything you dont need.

Or use it to expand, use 'em or lose 'em is the EB motto.
