Archers for Carthage

Can someone tell me what I need to edit, to make numidian archers available to Carthage?

I can not seem to get this to work. I know there are skins and mods etc, but I just want plain old numidian archers.

in export_descr_unit change on ownership line it will say

ownership numidia

change to

ownership numidia, carthage*

this can vary between patches, i reccomend finding how carthage is spelt and just copy and paste:2thumbsup:

then if it fails in descr_model battle, find numidian archers...

and pretty much self explanitory, copy the texture and sprite lines, then replace numidia with carthage or watever

you need to extract the packs, find UI, find the numidian archers unit card and info, then copy and paste in the appropriate carthage folders:2thumbsup:

What you really need is an extractor tool such as Vercingetorix's x-pak. This will unpack all of the .pak files, and from here you can play around with the various textures (or skins), models and sprites that shipped with the vanilla version of RTW. There is a link to the x-pak in this topic.
