Is there an established limit for units and the number of weapons that they can maintain. Can they have three, four, ...as many as they want. Or is there a Hard-Coded limit. I swear; the fact that there are so many hard-coded limitations is the bane of this engine and the game series. A fully fleshed out game is so much more realistic.

yeah.
there is one way to have 2 primary weapons, but you need to replace the shield with a weapon. However that weapon will not attack, just do what a shield does
