How do I find out what version of RTW I have?

I just bought it from an EB (Electronics Boutique)...2 weeks ago...

and I got BI from a CompUSA the same day...

and is it true that having a battle 'scarred' General decreases fertility? and if so was this corrected in RTW v. 1.2 (I think thats what the post said)

BI will patch vanilla R:TW to 1.3 automatically. Then you need to install the 1.6 patch to sort out the memory-leak and the last remains of the load-save bug. If you want to know the version, just open the options menu and it will be shown in one of the corners.

No, scarred does not decrease fertility, but 1.2 sorted out an issue that made Roman (but only Roman) generals get scarred after almost every battle.
