Early mod Ideas?

So, lets here them :2thumbsup:

A couple of mine would be;

The inevitable Historical Accuracy mod sort of a Medieval: Total Realism:laugh4:

Also I would love to make sure they represent the Aztecs, and whatever other Americans they have, properly. god Knows how many mistakes they could make :inquisitive:

So, any good thoughts for mods?

Mediterranean total war,

set in the ancient mediterranean, around 630BC, where persia, egypt, the greek cities were all fighting huge wars, and also when the tiny state of Rome began expanding slowly onto the Italian plains, and where the early colonists of Carthage began their expeditions, only being a matter of time before they come into hostile contact with the Hellenic lands...:2thumbsup:

I know a group were working on this, but the faction types and buildings will make this a much easier mod to produce now.

Europa Barbarorum

A fantasy mod. We haven't got any good ones in RTW, and I want to fight somewhere other than Europe for a change.

A mod where the Aztecs have no army. Because they had no army.

Well hopefully if they raise the hardcoded factions max then we could see a mod of the whole world map.

Not sure what era, but any would be good just for a huge world map! ~:)

The new wall system could mean a great Lord of the Rings:Total War or a mod based on middle earth. Minas Tirith could now be possible, and maybe even Helm's Deep!:bounce: :bounce:

There used to be a big LotR project for a Morrowind mod. If I recall correctly, they had to stop working on it because of copyright issues (even though the mod would have been completely free). So I wouldn't hold my breath for any big LotR mod to come along.

Shogun mod

A Rome mod is necessary. With the new features and non-clone armies and such, it would be everything it should be. EB team, start looking into MTW2.

The problem with implementing the more advanced graphics into M2TW mods is that it's so much more work for skinners and modelers. You'll need a veritable army to create a product up to snuff with the vanilla game.
