Anyone interested in an unofficial tournament?

Hello,

Even though I am not that good at multiplayer yet, I was reading around and noticed the RTR tournament, I dont know what happened to that, so perhaps we could run an unofficial one (not for RTR mind). It's not going to be anything fancy with a website or anything, just a little fun.

I was thinking 16 players would do the trick, depending on demand.

I'm open on what to use, although I would like it to be Barbarian Invasion or vanilla. Just because more people have them. It would be for all abilities, as for the newcomers even if they got masscared in round one they would get experience. I would randomly select the opening matches, then from that brackets would be drawn. In my experience tournaments tend to get left and unresolved with 'you get two chances' and all that rubbish, so i'm talking straight knockout.

I repeat, this is not on a big scale, so shouldnt be a big commitment. At most, you'll be playing four battles, unless I decide to make the final best of three just for extra spice. It's just a little fun for the Org community.

So yeah, before I iron out the details or organisment I would quite like to know who is interested. If there is more than 16 (which I perhaps doubt) then I will accomadate extras, because I want everyone to play who wants to.

The vandal horde will soon be hosting a tourney of our own(hopefully) however entry will be by invite only. There will be hopefully a real lame/cool prize for the winner and runner up. I mean something physical not just a banner to put on your website or anything.

If this tourney gets going im sure i`ll hear about it from Taurus. Good luck.

Heh pretty old thread. If I was to do one now I'd go through 'the propper channels' and (if permitted by Tibilicus, clan leader) do it in the name of Leo Honorius and it'd be hosted on their forums and website.

I know, removes the 'for the org community' factor, but still :P

If there is interest then I'd need at least 16 people (though I think I could get a few LH members in this time, at least four of us). So thats twelve to find. In a few days/weeks+ I might consider trying again, advertising on lots of different clan and fan forums. Perhaps in good time!

Yeah, We still do for a 1v1 Mocarch, Once I find my BI disc anyhow, so what you think??

Aslo, I would do it in the name of BHC, but I think all .org people should partictle in this big 1v1 tourny,it be cool..

I am currently preparing a tournament for Leo Honorius. however I think Tib, our clan leader, is away and so no official 'you can do it' but I've drawn up rules and a layout already. So yeah stay tuned, hopefully next month they'll be a tournament for you all to participate in. As long as Tibilicus allows :D

Ok. Basically Tib has replied to my thread and said yes. However he hasn't provided me with a forum and such just yet, so we cant accept sign ups and such just yet. So basically juast keep checking leohonorius.com > forums for an advance on the situation.
