Bribery Total war mod-diplomacy only mod idea.
Following on where I accidentally got -$2billion, it occurs to me that a fun one time mod would be to play with say $10million startup but NO ability to build any troops. Only diplomats(and I guess spies/asses) . These guys would have the duty to buy victory through bribery.
They could bribe armies/cities/rebels across the whole map, starting with only 1 town and the necessary 1 factionleader.
The task of course is to get victory with the least expenditure.
How much $ do you guys reckon it would take?( my guess was $10 million but that could be way off).
Could you then play as rebels ( as was possible with MTW)?

Nobody really knows what determines the size of a bribe, but it seems dependent on your treasury: the more you have, the more you pay. Therefore, your idea does not seem feasable to me. Also, you would need to mod out mercenaries as well, but on the other hand you do need garrisons.

Well now I guess I'll now have to accept that challenge and make the mod
I would let you hire mercs. It seems to me its just a matter of how many (how little)denarii you would need to make it challenging.
On modding I presume you would only need to mod the start up text files?.Any pointers on this from you modding guys would be appreciated.
