Google Building a Separate Internet?

Interesting article about Google doing some very interesting things ...

I, for one, welcome our Google overlords.

Good thing that someones puts it to use after all those years.

Google OS, Google Net, Google Browser, Google Auctions. Speculation, speculation.

Not sure what to make of it, especially since this dark fibre stuff is only in the US right?
