Anyone had Macrovision problems...

I play RTW,BF1942 & BFV as a mainstay.Lately after about 3 hours of play my computer power(green) light goes out,cursor gets jerky for about a minute & the hard drive indicates activity for that minute.Once done RTW will cause the computer to freeze on the next save.BF1942 & BFV do the same but continue on after the initial minute without a problem(no saves involved).I can go to desktop & the computer acts normally & the terminate RTW via the task manager.
What I've come to learn is that when the light goes out "Macrovision Cleaner" is run from my temp directory.I've researched it a little & found RTWs patches are made using Macrovisions Installer.There is a program installed at computer startup called IdriverT.exe that is run & has a driver table for programs installed using it.I asume this is a cross index to the uninstaller.
Anyone have a clue to whats going on here???
