Mounted units and wardogs in one. Is it possible?

I am wondering, has anyone tried replacing the dog handlers with a mounted unit that still has dogs with it?

I'm pretty sure that will not work.
Mounted units looks for 2 models: the horse and the soldier type, in DMB. Animal handler unit looks for animal type and handler/soldier model in DMB. So if you use animal handler, which required to have the system of animals and handlers, you can only assign one model as the handler in DMB. And using a horse as a handler, I'd imagine would result in CTD once they attack since the horse has no attack event to trigger an animation.

I believe you might be able to do it, but likely not with elephants or chariots, only horses or camels which are counted as part of the unit. An intriguing idea, by the way.
