A game based comic: Concerned
I was wondering, but has anyone read the comic based on HL2, Concerned: The half-life and death of Gordon Frohman? If you haven't, you should. It's great! It follows the adventures of Gordon Frohman, who arrives in City 17 a few weeks before Gordon Freeman, generally wreaking havoc wherever he goes. An example of how much a parody it is are the titles of each chapter. Route Banal. Pointless Insertion. We Still Go To Ravenholm. All brilliant parodies of the real chapters in the game.

Start with prologue and work your way through. If you've played HL2, it'll be great. It also helps explain a lot of things in the game...
Elite Combine to Frohman: 'What the HELL are we going to do with 100,000 explosive barrels!?'
The next comic then shows them stacking the barrels around rickety bridge supports, just like in the game.
'What's the worst that could happen?'
Re: A game based comic: Concerned
That was great:laugh4:
Though I've never played half life, some of the stuff in there is pretty universal to FPS games, like the medkit and everyone standing around crates that explode...
Re: A game based comic: Concerned
I´m just reading through it and it´s really great.:laugh4: :laugh4:
Never played HL2 myself either.
Re: A game based comic: Concerned
Everyone i show this too agrees that it's great, even those who haven't played the game like you guys.
'Tonight on City 17's funniest home videos, a slum collapses killing 22. Well, i think it's funny...'

Wow! That guy is really funny! Hilarious!!!
Re: A game based comic: Concerned
For those of you who have seen Frohman's spray when he's in the CS:S Universe, it's shockingly enough actually used in real CS:S. I've seen it at least 5 times.
Heheh, you got 'Frohwned'...
