So I'm starting up an Org newsletter...

Anyone want to help, I'll post it here for everyone to see, say monthly, and it'll basically be used to keep track of the hottest threads, modding news (I'll post links to ER's mod roundup here), new stories etc

So if you PM me with things that you think should be in the Newsletter and i ask again, does anyone wish to help me? they'll have to be dedicated to finding stuff etc so i dont particulaly want casual volunteers.

Anything Craterus mate, just look around for popular threads and pm the links to me, if you want to write stuff about them, that would be fine, in fact that would be awesome!

Craterus mate, if you want you can look for our 'Headline story', it can be anything from anywhere in the forums, you dont even have to write it (although that would be awesome) just give me the details along with some notes and that will be that.

I'm hoping to get the first issue done for this weekend, so guys, get reporting!

Friday... excellent. Hey, all the people a part of this should put their title in their sub-name. For example instead of mine being "Arcade King" I would change that to "Arcade Reporter" or something. That's so people will know you are with the group and they can send you some stuff to further great-ify the newsletter. (Like my word I made up? :laugh:)

Just an idea.... I'm not going to change my sub until I get the Lead Editor to okay it. Btw... I've sent you something Ianofsmeg16. (Is their a meaning to your name?

You should write about the new subdirectory in the Monastery and about the multi-authors story in the Mead Hall!

Will this newsletter go out per email?
You'll need a spot where patrons can subscribe and unsubscribe to it.

From a t.v program called Red Dwarf, the word smeg is a word they made up instead of using swears in the program:2thumbsup:

I thought it was also English slang for... dirt which can be found in the male anatomy.

How are you planning to allow people to subcribe/unsubscribe to this? Will you be including screenshots and other images which would be cool? More info. Also no offence but does anybody really want to read about new members? I love seeing new patrons at the org but what will it be, a list of people registered within the past week? Or something different that I'm missing? Is this strictly Org related or general TW community info (IE. M2TW news) too?

I'm not sure how to allow people to subscribe/unsubscribe to this, what it will be is a thread bi-monthly that sums up the news of the org. The Backrrom section will contain info about the hot threads, including the news article it encompasses. It will also have news relating to the games, STW, MTW, RTW and MTW2.

The New members section is a good idea I think, It shows that the org cares about its new members, so much so that it feels like mentioning them in their news. I want to add to the community spirit here, so the idea stays :2thumbsup:
