This is intriguing! There's a family in Turkey that walk around on all fours all the time and have trouble standing up straight!

I think genetically if you have children with your sister for instance (which is probable with the wording in this article) IIRC you are 50% more likely to have some kind of genetic disease.

Oh yes, I've heard about the news. As it is already obvious and mentioned by fellows, they have genetic defects caused by being inbred.

And Vladimir, my personal point of view concerns myself indeed. What ******* kind of thought I have towards the related ethnic community, it is crap of mine. Well inbreeding is just wrong. I thought marrying closer than second cousin here was wrong anyway, I guess the registry office just looks the wrong way when you tick the "Muslim" and "ethnic minority" boxes on the form.

North-Western Europeans have always understood this was a bad idea, there is even a refernce to it in the Norse Sagas. Odin specifically forbade the marriage of first cousins.

Unless you name is preceded by Duke, Prince, King, or Emperor. Then you have to marry a first cousin.
