edited textures not appearing in game

i dont know what i'm doing wrong, my only guess is that the game is finding the texture files from somewhere else.

i've unpacked the textures, and took all the folders from the "DATA" folder created in the packs folder, outside, i.e. into the original data folder, and have edited textures in data\models_unit\textures, and deleted the folders in the packs\DATA folder.

i've also made sure to save it with the correct DDS settings


sorry if this isnt very clear.


i've only been making minor adjustments for now, i.e. scribbling on someone's face, they just dont appear like that in the game.

Have you actually changed the name of the texture? If not, it will still read the texture hidden in the pak file. Change the name of the texture and change the reference in descr_model_battle to your new texture name.
