Yea, you better be adding Atlantis to the game, cuz i just watched another history channel program about how "hypothetically" there, "might", "once", have been a "similiar" type of "small civilization" , living in some "close to the sea" area, with customs very "close to" those of the Atlantians. And of course the history chanel is never wrong so start while your ahead.
yeah, duh. Bartix ofcourse...hmm getting sick of this old cow, bartix, really.Quote:

Actually, if someone could post some high quality shots of the Carthaginian Sacred Band phalanx and cavalry and the various Roman units that would be great! My computer isn't exactly top of the line and I feel that I am missing out on a lot of detail with the settings at low.
Can we have more factions with naked people? I'd like to see some naked people on horses.
Thankyou.

Thanks! Those models are so incredibly awesome that I wish I had my new computer now. Only a about a month and a half before I start buying parts.
Lol............by my estimation EB owes me about 1600 euros for the entire new rig i forked out just to be able to play EB without lag on decent unit settings and with full detail.Okay EB...........cough it up. :laugh4:Quote:

Yeah, it's a skin problem, we should have it fixed in the next build.
Will you also have the riders sitting six inches above their saddles fixed? I haven't checked to see all the models where it happens, but I know fo sho it happens with mad asabara.
In sticking with the theme of this thread, all I (personally) need is a yes or no (ie no screenshots or anthing) to the following subjects:
Balearic slingers
Cretan Archers
Spartan Hoplites
Before I forget, rebel Pantodopoi shields seem to be transparent when viewed from the rear. I can't remember if it's the same with Seleucids, I don't think it was.Quote:

If you mean will they be made, the answer is yes for all (though technically "no" for two already).

you don't know what you're missing, well perhaps only the most beautifull skin of EB yet!
I'm evil.
We would show you the Spartans we made, and they are probably the most beautiful of any unit we've yet made, but there is some debate about how to present the Spartans of 270BC vs. the Spartans from two centuries beforehand.
How wealthy they had become, and so on. I am of the viewpoint that we can always show what we have done and release it as an optional download at some point if we decide to make them differently. We'll see, though, as the team hasn't decided anything yet.
Surely the Spartans of 270BC would be even BETTER than the Spartans of 200 years before them... Weren't the weapons and armours of better quality by 270? And they would be just as brave as those of before, just fewer in numbers...
Not at all, the decline of Sparta in the 4th century, especially the loss of Messenia really undermined the classical spartan education program. Various attempts were made to reinstitute it in the later 4th and 3rd century, but it was never completely succesful (the social system had probably been too eroded, and the political system of Tyranny undermined a key feature of the earlier Spartan model). Further, the Spartans were so good in 480 because they were the only professional soldiers in Greece, everyone else was a weekend warrior. In 272 many soldiers are rather professional, and the levels of training (at least for Greek and Hellenistic forces) had risen dramatically since 480.
So you are basicaly saying that no matter how good the wepons and armor got the Spartin could never return to their former glory? That is kind of sad realy....
Pretty much, the world of Spartan glory was long gone. If the Spartans managed to become a power again it would have been a different kind of power than before.
Anyway, I'm sure the Messenians were happy about it.
