Most of the speeches are really good, I was just wondering if theres somewhere in the Rome Total War file that i can find files or whatever they are so i can listen to the speeches made before battles out of the game.

I've tried doing that, and I found out you have to have a special media player to listen to them. I downloaded it and listen to them every now and then.

Hmm, I know there's a file where you can READ all the different speeches but I couldn't find anything where you could actually listen. Do a bit of snooping, and you can find the text for all of them.

Yeh,though most of the speeches are the smae.But different for each faction.
It would be good too hear them without having too start the game halfway through.:2thumbsup:
I dont know how to listen to them but you can read them in the activision/ rome total war/ data/ text/ prebattle_speeches_subtitles file.
You need to unpack the speeches first before you can listen to them. It was some time ago, but I think I used this tool to do it. Just make sure you read the instructions before trying to use it.
An advantage of this unpacker is that it unlocks all the sounds, including the music!
