The Great Northern War

The Great Northern War was fought by a coalition of the Russians, Denmark-Norway, and Saxony-Poland against Sweden from 1700-1720. The Swedish king Charles XII was only in his teens. The opposing forces thought the time was right to attack the Swedes with a ruler so young and foolish. Discuss. Here are a few websites with information.
