Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
I think I will be downloading this tonight after work, This looks good, the skins alone, for the Romans make me smile and if it plays as well as XGM, then I'll have a joker like smile:) This looks good.
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
I've been playing 3.1 for a bit, and let me just say that it is damn fun. Thank you for putting the time and energy into your mods, I think they are fantastic. There is no way in the world I would be able to do something like that, not without a lot of practice anyway. Thanks for putting it out to the world.
I have a question about 4.0. If I already have 3.1 installed, do I still need to uninstall and reinstall RTW again, or can I download 4.0 over 3.1? Thank you in advance for your reply.
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
You can put 4.0 over 3.1, just avoid the provincial campaign, it won't work.
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
Thank you very much. I'll give it a try.
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
Thank you to whoever put the front page annuoncement up, i very much appreciate it.
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0

Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
Not for the time period, no its meant to look cool. would point out what the first part of the readme says:
This mod was done to try and make RTW better by improving the gameplay and making it more fun. It does not aim to be historically accurate. It just trys to make Rome better, which i think it does and i hope you agree. Hope you have fun
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
ok sorry my mistake thankz for the quick reply
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
CTD at 224 playing as Rome with Macedonia and GS beaten and besieging 2 Carthagian Cities, then I click for turn change and when it get's to Dacia's turn the game crashes repeatedly. Did this happen in play testing?
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
This is just the RTW end turn bug, my mod seems to aggravate it for a few people, many have not experienced the bug.
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
Just like to say thanks for this awesome mod Lusted. I've only played about an hour and a half of it (I'm currently playing a Carthaginian campaign) and I think you mod is already better than Rome Total Realism (in my opinion). The skins are lush, the map is amazing, the whole mod is just great.
Thanks man!
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
Thank you.
You will pleased to hear i am hard at work on 5.0, and it will be out in about a month.
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
Greetings to all! I am a new member and have been playing the TW series for four years. I have greatly enjoyed the mods, forums and the useful information gathered from these threads. I have had a slow Friday, so I decided to finally register.
Is this mod compatible with BI?
Re: Terrae Expugnandae 4.0
It's for RTW 1.5 and welcome : )
Cool version 5 of the mod! Can't wait !
Already mentioned this in another thread but fantastic work Lusted

This mod is awesome...
Absolutely awesome...
Units look great, ver few bugs (the single bug i ever saw was the fact that when i destroyed a faction, a roman message appeared to me..)
The factions are balanced, and even more = theyr expansion is historically correct... no longer Armenians in South Siberia etc ...
It is good that you start whith alot of money... because rebels are very strong... and they really can defeat alot of armies, also, regional wars broke preety soon.... and wars which threathen the very existence of your country, not just simple border skirmishes like in vannila.
Romans... greatly done, altough in all my games Epirus either destroyed them , or puth them into a very difficult position :inquisitive:
Howewer, Dacia AI seem so not work correctly. Maybe adding Sarmizegetusa to them would make them more of a challenge, otherwise they remain confined only to a single province.
I played ALOT on it, and i NEVER, BUT NEVER EVER EXPERIENCED A CTD...
Its incredibly stable and smooth.
