my shift key had gone mad

when i press the right shift key the computer beeps and the num lock light goes off or on.

when i press the left shift key different things happen on different programs. on internet explorer it opens the help window. in word it opens the open document window or the print window. it also beeps

this is by far the strangest thing that has ever happened to my computer.

Do you have any other computer at your house? If so use a keyboard from the other computer to see if the problem is your computer settings or your keyboard.

i should have thought of that.


it turns out that my sister had spilt water on it.

I opened it up and dryed the insides of it with a hairdryer, because it was very wet.

Now it is broken.:no:

So I went to my dad's flat to get the old keyboard from our old computer, which is not used.

So the problem is more or less solved.
