There was a picture of Blink 182 right about here.
Pop punk... I'm not really that fond of you, but you can churn out some good stuff... Old punk doesn't really like you but you couldn't care less...besides it's all about having fun isn't it?
Bad test. It makes no effort to list any good psychedelic bands; the only "psychedelic" on the whole damn list was Hendrix- where are the Doors? Jefferson Airplane? Iron Butterfly? Steppenwolf? The Byrds? Pink Floyd? Queen Janis? Hell, they don't even have the Grateful Dead!
Plus, I have tried four times now, and despite every variation and attempt to get "psychedelic rock" as an answer, I keep getting classic rock. And I know damn well I am not a classic rock fan. I hate Zeppelin. :furious3:
Heavy meatl mmmmmmmmmmmmm whhhhhaaaaaaaaaaattttttt
Industrial rock! Just like Marilyn Manson, you know what you have to say and you just say it! I like you very much...just be careful you don't scare me away...

Heavy metal! You rock! It's mostly about the music instead of lyrics for you...but you channel most of the emotion through the lyrics! Mosh pit for you! Just be careful you don't give yourself a concussion with so much headbanging...

And I know some people wouldn't agree *cough* GoreBag *cough*
"Classic rock! Without you the other genres wouldn't exist! You are the raw and original sound of rock! Other genres may try to imitate your rawness, but they can never be like you!"
Meh.
Obviously, it wasn't very 'scientific'. Above all else, I dig the melodies. Double guitars w/ the bass and vocals, all that. So, SOAD, Blindside, Dream Theater, the like. As Zorba wonderfully eludes to though, some sounds are better for some altered states of mind. I don't know how many people have large doses, watch scary movies or really intense, violent-ish music, and then have a pleasant experience.~;)
Industrial Rock... not a big surpise.
Heavy Metal!! But I knew that already :2thumbsup:
Hmm, grunge. Don't really think so.
Old School Punk
And they gave me a picture of the clash!
Industrial Rock.No suprise.:thrasher:
Only because I picked three Grunge bands (Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden) and two Classic Rock artist(s) (Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin) :) ..... Most of the choices are modern bands :inquisitive:Quote:
Grunge! You're all about the music and would even turn your back on fame just to stay true to your roots... You reached your high in the early '90s, but you're still making some good stuff! Keep rocking!
Grunge...
I always thought Pearl Jam and Soundgarden got thrown into the grunge genre because they were from seattle, they're more akin' to classic rock imnsho.Quote:

Why do you all need a test to tell you what genre of music you are? :wall: You should already know that.
Smashing pumpkins no, STP and AiC yesQuote:

Old school punk! You just say what you have to say regardless of what everyone else thinks! You're one of my most favourite types of music... You're raw and uncut! You're surrounded by hype...just don't let it make you go insane...

I couldn't find Hard Rock in the list of what you like, so I'm assuming it isn't there to begin with.
"Cherub Rock" and "Today", those are grunge!Quote:

Yes, after I posted I realized they did have a bunch of truely 'grunge' songs. But they were so much more than a small part of a 90s niche genre imho.Quote:
