Unfortunetly never knew him.:shame:
Thought you misspelt Tosa there. Never heard of Hosa myself, either.
He might be in Japan, last I heard.
hmmm I have seen posts of him.. must have been old ones...:embarassed:
sad news :(
Haven't seen him in a while, just like a couple of other members - Colovion and Red Harvest come to mind.
:balloon2:
Red Harvest has been online I think... at least I remember he helped me with some stuff in apothecary. could be that he's less active now.. and that thread in apothecary was quite a while ago.. now I think of it.
AdrianII has been absent lately too.:help:
Also where is Ichi?:horn:
ichi came to my attention recently. But more importantly (to me anyway), katank hasn't been seen in a while..
Our .org members are disappearing  Who's next?
What happened to ZainDustin ??!!! ~
Hosakawa Tito was a major presence in the early days of this forum. Last I heard, he was doing fine after a serious affliction.
He dissappeard around the same time Tosa gave up his crown :inquisitive:Quote:

That's because they might simply be offline. They are only missing when they have been gone a long time...
Indeed, Ichi and Hosa have been gone, although I'm Ichi informed the Guild of his departure at one point. Perhaps a flick through old threads will reveal an answer.
I'm sure Red Harvest has been around, though. It might have been Red Peasant. Or Redleg. Hmmm...

Hosakawa suffered a stroke I beleive, either that or some form of tumor, which made him very, very ill. Last I heard he was recovering nicely, but that was probably a year ago.
I remember seeing him post, but I wasn't into reading too many posts from the org back then so I didn't realize he had gone missing. Seems like many members have disappeared, from reading your posts.
What a beautiful place to be ~:grouphug:
Regarding Hosa, I'll update you on what little I know. A couple of weeks after his last login (early April '05) I emailed him to find out why he had been absent. I got a reply from his wife in early May of last year stating that he had to leave to attend some family business that had a "happy ending". She indicated he was to return within the week to explain. That was the last I've heard anything. I have sent emails to Hosa several times in the past year, even some with subjects to catch the attention of his wife, but I've gotten no replies. During this past year I've tried other means of attempting to contact him but have found no leads.
With Hosa's brain aneurysm back in 2004, his absence does give me concern for his well being, but his wife's email does ease that somewhat. If anyone knows of a means of contacting him other than those via the Org, a request to him to drop by and say "Hi" would be appreciated. Knowing he's okay and just on an Org sabbatical would make me feel much better.
Thanks for filling us all in, Gregoshi.
This little corner of cyberspace that we call theOrg has appeal to those who come here and enjoy the friendly, jovial, helpful atmosphere we all work to preserve... enough to stick around.
Nevertheless, real-life prevails, so 'sticking around' is sometimes impossible. People come, people go, people come back. Almost all do (come back). So we keep their chair warm, carry on with our concerns, and welcome both new guys and old guys to our little garden. And plead with our 'oldbies' to tell the stories of their time away from us.
I too worry about Hosakawa Tito and ichi... but all I or we can do is wish them the best of luck in all their endevours, and look forward to the day they can return. Which we all hope is soon.

Thank you very much for informing us,Gregoshi-san.
I do hope the guys come back soon, and all is well, especially for Hosakawa-san.
My hunch seems to be true. AdrianII is indeed TosaInu. :sweatdrop:
Brain aneurysm ?? Oh my, please deliver my wishes of the best recovery from such severe problem to Hosakawa. I hope he is ok.
And I wonder what happened to AdrianII as well. Backroom needs him, and that döner postcard is still missing, GAH!
LEN, to the best of our knowledge, Hosa had recovered quite well according to both him and his wife. He was doing some physical therapy to restore full function to one of his legs, but otherwise was doing well.
Ah great then..That's some great news. Fight back from such trouble is quite difficult and I'm glad to hear that one Org member I've never known of is doing well after it. Thanks, Gregoshi
Gee, thanks for reminding me that I didn't win even any honorable mentions.Quote:

Months ago, AdrianII alluded to a possible real-life work assignment to N.Africa/Middle East. Maybe such arrangements were made - in which case, I'm sure we all join together in wishing him Good Luck, and a speedy return to the Org family (along with juicy stories for us).:2thumbsup:
