Number two all the way.

Number one have more, and better looking details on the Hoplon(sp?).

Lakedaimonians should have a Lambda on their hoplons... not that Sun-like design which looks somewhat like the Makedonian symbol.

Number 2 looks better... but it was a tricky decision
