Perhaps the most important part of EB, the background script have to be activated each time you start a new campaign or load a save game. If it isn’t activated the advisor will remind you constantly. But no worries, after some hours it will have become a habit.
How? What are you talking about? Is there a file somewhere? Is this in the game, or out of the game?
Its pretty simple. Click on a building, character, or faction icon when you first start a campaign. The advisor will pop up with a message telling you to click the "Show me how button." Click it and the script is activated. The advisor will bother you until you turn the script on whether advice is on or not.
I see. I completely missed that the first time.
I suggest spelling that out very explicitly in the Readme and the FAQ when the script is mentioned, because I couldn't figure it out, though I looked.
Clicking on a character or army doesn't work for mine though tk, only clicking on a settlement.
but what does it do excatly?
4 seasons a year? what else?
It does many things,
reforms (Hellenistic Kataphrakt)
missions (returning Alex to Pella)
diplomacy (attacking rebel provinz xyz, automatically makes you at war with faction xyz)
seasons
traits
and so on.....
At least it's something innovative which it will take some time before other mods will realise what hit them. ~D
