Re: Christianize the Vandals
I think you actually need a christian family member, so you'll have to wait until one is born. Or maybe you could bribe a christian?
Yeah and if you decide to convert, it's gonna take a long time for the pagans to die out. If you have cities there's a good chance they'll revolt.
Re: Christianize the Vandals
Bribe a christian general and set him as your faction heir. What decides the religion of your generals, is your faction leader.
I think it`s a 75% chance that a newborn family member will have the same religion as your faction leader.
Re: Christianize the Vandals
Thanks for the advice! I will try to bribe a general then :-)
Re: Christianize the Vandals
Keep them Pagen, believe me it's better. I in my Vandal Campaign, had held whole italy, the islands in the sea, and went spreaded out in Europe till I reached Spain. And I think the Pagen temples did a better job (+2 Exp + 3 weapon tend to make your units great, especially when they reach the 'golden' chevrons state).
Re: Christianize the Vandals
I think ivoignob is more concerned with historical accuracy as opposed to power within the game, so he's choosing to go down the Christian route. Best of luck with that!

Re: Christianize the Vandals
It`s also more fun and challenging to christianize the factions. I do that with every faction that can be christianized.
Re: Christianize the Vandals
Thanks for all the replies. Yes, actually I don't want to hold all europe. I already find it annoying enough that the Huns are holding all of it.
By the way, Spain is fine now but I lost Carthage due to a revolt. I can't get this religion thing right. I think I have to play some more campaigns:-P
