Anybody with tech info on STW please read me!!

So far I can log in and see a friend in the room but cant host

I have mcaffee Firewall have told it to allow Shogun.exe but no joy

I use BTinternet broadband but dont have a modem it is through a router from the phone line does anybody know what i have to alter to sort the problem I have also been using this as the internet.cnf

ChatserverIPAddress = shogun-fakeserver.dnsdojo.org
ChatserverPort = 8793
NewsserverIPAddress = daphne.eagames.co.uk
NewsserverPort = 8797
ShogunTotalWarWebsite = www.totalwar.com


is this correct?

do i need to make changes here?

If I need to change router or firewall settings how is this done

If i am unable to host can someone tell me who can host and when they are usually online so i can get some action

I am online most evenings GMT london and weekends

it's not about the .cfg file. It's your router. Read the 'Shogun multiplayer hosting' thread above. Or send a pm to R'as Al Ghul. he knows a lot about it.

a simple solution is there though, buy a long usb cable and plug it from your comp into your modem. ~:) router: no, hosting: yes. ~:)
