strat map animations

Ive been editting animatiosn for the strat map. Ive followed every tutorial on animations i could find. When the strat map loads everything is fine. When i select a unit and tell it to do something it either disappears until the relevent animation completes and then reappears or I get a CTD.

For example when i tell a unit to walk it will disappear for the correct amount of time and then reappear when it has stopped. This is odd because I could see if one animation was incorrect but this process calls for three separate animations and i cant see all three being incorrect.

If the unit tries to turn in any direction i get a CTD.

My guess is that there is something wrong in the way that i editted the animations though i really dont know what that might be. I use the same number of frames as the orginial animation. I dont know a whole lot about animations so im wondering if theres something ive overlooked.

You only rotated the bones? You didn't move any of them?

I only moved the Scene Root when necessary. I rotated all the rest of the bones.
