So, who plays UT from here? I do, and I've finished UT GOTY and moemntarily I only have the UT2004 demo. :cry:

Waiting for the next generation, UT 2007 baby! :grin:

I've got UT GOTY Edition (finished) and UT 2004, but I prefer UT over UT2004.

But yeah like you I can't wait for 2007. :2thumbsup:

Have both UT and 2K4 but only used it for the mods.

Somehow, I feel the same. UT GOTY was simple but very efficient and you had hours of playing.

Played UT, UT 2k4, and finished them both.

Brings back the old days of Infromatics class ... four gamers sitting, playing UT while the rest of the class worked on lessons.

Had Classic. Played in the most Asian of traditions (which mean until I've almost died; not literally! :2thumbsup: ) until I lost the disc and the hd. Which was sad.

Have demo 2K4. Will buy the real thing soon now that Summer starts.

Loved them all.

Classic has this natural appeal, especially the last CTF map (is it?) with the submarine base was my favourite of all time, while the latest one's vehicles are awesome. PANCAKE! :laugh4:

I had UT, though I lost the disc a long time ago, and I have ut2004. I liked UT better, and I can't wait for 2007, though I'll probably wait a while before getting it.

Guess everybody agrees that UT GOTY was the best....

Had UT 04 but then when i found RO mod i was hooked, and havent really played normal unreal for months now.

Any idea when will the UT2007 demo will surface the internet?

UT2k3 is the best.. A pro MP-er here ;)

I play LGiBR, NWDM, and Classic BR.

I also used to play Quake 3, but I lost the CD and moved on to UT.

What is better though I can't remember, so I ask you, UT or Quake?

Unreal Tournament ... I liked the maps, weapons and characters better, although I could do Quake 3, it seemed a bit too fast for me, UT is somewhat slower-paced, which suits my campign tendencies quite well.

Well, actually, camping is not a precise term. I use the sniper a lot, but I never zoom in or stay in one spot. I also prefer the InstaGib mod, now that was fun. One hit, one kill ... except that the problem with the people I played was getting that hit, duels could go on for minutes.

I actually never played over the 'net ... there were enough people to play with in my area, plus there was this computer gaming center where you had about twenty or so linked computers for such things.

I'd love to, but I misplaced my copy of UT oh, must be two years now. I usually don't game on the 'net for principle ... waay to many annoying people who you just want to strangle to death with your bare hands (and using a flak cannon doesn't quite do that ... it makes the annoying ones even more annoying).

UT can be really fast too... Play a SuperNode or the Bombing Run(the one with the balls which need to be carried) and it can be very fast. I play on Single Player UT 2004 Demo on with Masterful bots and they are wicked...

My favourite is Morpheus and my favourite weapons are:

-Link Gun/Pulse Gun(GOTY)
-Shock Gun/Shock Rifle(GOTY)
-Redeemer ~D

I'll probably order UT2004 in the summer, to play at maximum level. :balloon2:

Deck 16, absolute best.

Weapons:
Sniper (no zoom)
Flak
InstaGib (when used)

Anubis/Asbestos/Flarized.

Shock Rifle, Bio Rifle, Lightening Gun and Flak canon.

Maps: that submarine base from the last CTF match from classic UT, if I remember correctly. It's been years. That was absolute awesomeness having to assault the bunker/bypass it and climb a huge way up to the end.

Second best would be the final duel Finale with everybody's favourite robot champion in that spaceship.

Third best would be the utterly classic Asteriods. REDEEMER! MUWAH! When I'm bored/in a bad mood/sad/murderous/revolutionary, I loaded up the game with fifty-something bots, any version, on novice and bomb them with redeemers. :laugh4:

Guns: FLAK! And redeemers. So what? I'm a powermonger. And the flak cannon is just about the most versatile killer there is.

By the way, for those who have UT2003, the generic fan's verdict is that this is the worst version, so if you like it (which I did...) you'll find any other versions even better.

I found 2k4 worse than 2k3.. (InstaGib in 2k4 sucks, and so does LG, and believe me, they killed iLGBR their..)

Do I feel that the stuff with the PowerNodes is pathetic? Guess so.

I've played Unreal, UT and UT2K4. All were fun, but I've had the most fun with 2K4. A couple of local friends and I would hook up online and blast the crap out of each other for a few hours. Nothing fancy, just death match. Alas, it has probably been at least six months since our last fragfest.

Our alltime favourite map in 2K4 is called "Sniperia2". It is the best sniper map we've ever come across. We usually start an evening with several matches on Sniperia and end the evening with a few more. The map has all kinds of cover - trees, bunkers, streams, bridges, dark areas, ledges and other elevated areas - yet the map has a very open feeling to it with plenty of opportunities for some super long shots. There is nothing like nailing a headshot on your buddy from the other side of the map. :2thumbsup: The weapons are the sniper rifle and the lightning gun. A redeemer and ion painter(?) are available for a little different type of fun. We just can't seem to get enough of it.

My favourite weapon is the flak cannon. I'm simply dreadful up close, so the wide shot area helps my aweful aim - but usually not enough.:skull:

If you can get together a decent number of human players, the Assault game in 2K4 is lots of fun.

We can always make an Org UT Clan. ~D

By the way, how many times have you achieved Godlike status?
I got it today on a CTF-Face Classic(the 2 towers in outer space), with only a Super Shock Rifle. I got MMMMMOOOOONSTEEER KILL and after the next kill, GODLIKE!!! ~D

?! Godlike happens after Unstoppable, and I think you should be asking about Wicked SicK! ~;)

Wicked Sick? Huh? I never got that(if it exists), not even at UT GOTY.
