Melee Unit Sounds

I just want to make the background melee noises louder. (go to RTW/Data/Sounds/SFX/Group/Melee and listen to the noises if it isnt there download Vercengetorix's IDX Extractor put extract_sounds and xidx.exe in the Data/Sounds run extract_sounds and the sounds will be there) i tried in the descr_sounds_units_fight putting volume at 90 and lod (whatever that is)
lower but i dont get any difference i still dont hear the sounds! any :help:?

good news! i used a backup of my descr_unit_sounds_fighting and i replaced the modded one. i have done some changes, and the outcome is good.
