Yesterday I've found that it's possible to add a new climate and I was wondering if it's possible to create one which feature jungles with appropriate trees models with new ambient sounds too.
Where did you discovered that is possible to add a new climate?
Well I opened the descr_climates.txt, chosen I new RGB color for it then I opened the climate.tga file in the map and couloured a small part with the new RGB color, is used the same settings as semi_arid climate in central germania. Loaded the map and there was a new ground type (semi_arid like) where I had coloured the map. Now I'm wondering if someone has investigated more to create a new climate with different graphics maybe...
