Ah, they are not Gods, merely hallucinations brought on by too great a temperature difference between brain and surroundings, due to drinking iced beverages in hot weather.
A nice warm cup of tea brings refreshment, clarity of thought and true contentment.
You all make me sick with your tea. GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Iced Tea!!!!!!!
Iced tea in the summer, hot tea in the winter. It's all good!
Sometimes I like a good oolong tea with Chinese food but for the most part tea sucks.
I do enjoy the occasional drink of iced tea, however...
Earl Grey, two cubes of sugar, perfection. :2thumbsup:
Or green tea, whatever.
Gimme a cup of Gahffee, hot, strong and black.
[/double entendre]
Long live the South and Ice Tea!
On certain days Ice Tea can be a small taste of heaven.
Tea requires ceremony, etiquette and class. One cannot drink iced tea in a small, cold and damp island and then be motivated to go and conquer the world. Equally, drinking hot tea in hundred degree temperatures whilst dressed in full uniform impresses the natives no end.
As does knowing when to add the milk. :toff:
Iced tea all the way for me. Though, I do like the occasional tea when contemplating 'what ifs' with mates. When in England...
Quid
I only drink iced tea in the summers. I drink hot tea all through; american teas really suck though. PG tips would be my breakfast and sometimes a cup of earl grey later on.
Truth :2thumbsup:Quote:

Warm cocoa is better anyway. :embarassed:
STOP! :bobby:
Before we go any further we need some clarification here. Are we talking about Liptons[TM] or proper tea? :anxious:
Good point, InsaneApache, I almost wanted to say GAH! Tea or ice tea, they are just the same.
PG tips, milk, two sugars please.
Whos got the kettle on?
iced (but my father prefers tea alot more)
Every day, normal English breakfast tea, drop of milk, no sugar. Marvellous. For special occasions, Earl Grey. Heaven. Nuff said. Iced Tea is just another anodyne American concoction. McDonald's for tea-drinkers. Hrrumph!
Tea.
Tea, Earl Grey will do; milk, no sugar, and a buttered fruit scone with jam and clotted cream. Divine.
Coffee, dark, and strong. But, my Grandfather was educated in India and showed me Tea. Tea is more of an occasional beverage. On the other hand, my father showed my his "Irish Coffee" which is quite a good thing when I'm really moving slow. I just grab the bottle of Sinny and enjoy.
Tea without question :2thumbsup:
So many to choice from. My current fav is Earl Grey, but I do also drink Darjeeling.
But then we also have the simple british cuppa.
I'm quite a fan of Lapsang, as well as all the Chinese types.
This is not to say I'm not a fan of coffee either - time and a place though, and it has to be decent coffee (strong too, and none of this milk or sugar malarkey).
First thing in the moring, at work, to wake me up.Quote:

I do believe that thou has been taking thy Earl Grey incorrectly. It is only proper to take the aforementioned beverage with a citrus fruit, usually lemon.Quote:

I like Ceylon in the morning -- that refreshing taste is just the thing to have for Elevenses, with a splash of milk
Darjeeling, Assam, or Ceylon for afternoon tea, taken with nothing, milk and one sugar, and milk respectively.
Assam for the evening, the full bodied flavour sets me down for the night, with milk and sugar.
I sometimes have Chai tea in winter, those spices are quite something.
Where's the option for both, SftS?
Iced tea when it's going to be 101F (that's 38.6C for you Brits) outside, like umm... today.
But in the morning and afternoons and, well... ok, all the time. Hot green tea with mango, lime and a little dollop of honey. Jasmine with lime and a little honey is good as well.
Yes, I do take it with lemon on occasion, but I love my sugar. :sweatdrop:Quote:
