higher resolution means a clearer picture, since more pixels are used to draw the same things. so yes, it's better graphics
but it's more taxing on your computer. and may make the graphics seem more choppy, depending on how good your computer is
hm. but the game gets a bit little bit blurry with 1280X1024. got suggestions?
