Not in the Republic of Liverpool we're not ~;)
Just spent much of three days at the Mathew St. Festival (that shop is at one end of the street) watching groups from all over the world playing mainly '60s British music. Best bands seen were an awesome Swedish Rolling Stones tribute group and a Russian ensemble with a stunning little blonde lead-singer, sort of like Christina Aguilera but better looking and the most amazing voice. It's a really cool experience to go to somewhere like the Cavern and talk to people from Germany, France, Brazil, Argentina, US, Canada, Russia, Spain, Italy, Japan, Norway, etc, etc, etc, all in the space of about three hours before moving on to the next venue. :2thumbsup:
