Half-Life Console cheat problem

Hi im trying to use the cheat version of half-life on single player but im having problems it says a new section on the menu will appear it hasnt and other are telling to go to start,all programs,accecorcies then command prompt then type C:\Program Files\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -console but the proplem with thats it keep starting the string with C:\Documents and Settings\Stev>

and even if press enter it says C:\Program is not recognized as an internal or exeternal command, operable program or bacth feild.

if take the C:\Program it says : it cannot be found some one help plz

It usually works best if you make a shortcut of the .exe file on your desktop (label it Half-life cheat or something like that), then, right-click on the icon, select Properties. Once the window opens, there should be a field labeled target containing the location of the game's .exe file.

At that point, you simply add the -console extension to the target line, you normally do this by simply selecting it, putting the cursor in, pressing space then typing whatever extension is used (in this case: -console).
