Hi,
Im looking to start a new campaign with Barbarian Invasion, after looking at these forums, i was interested in trying out DarthMod and INVASIO BARBARORUM, but was not sure if they were compatible.
If their not compatible, wich mod should i go with for a fun playing experience?

I thought Darthmod was for the original RTW campaign, whereas IBFD is for the BI campaign. Some mods do use Darth's formations - I'm not sure if IBFD does.
I'm going to try IBFD as what little I saw of the that version was very promising.
I've had a lot of fun with Goth's All Factions mod - I can strongly recommend that if you want a thorough reworking of the original BI campaign. (IBFD has a somewhat later starting date, so the WRE are in more trouble.)
As econ21 says, Darthmod is for RTW not BI.
IBFD is a great mod...
I recommend getting it...
Upgrade your BI version to 1.6, then get the 6.0 version of the mod. You won`t regret it. And watch for the Horse Archers... they are very, very deadly...:laugh4:
Darth mod does also include a BI mod with new skins and tweaked stuff, as well as the Darth Battle System (tm) :D

and BARBARIAN INVASION uses Darth's Formations :laugh4: a necessity IMHO :shame:
Also make sure you take a look at Arthurian Total War. Just came out for BI 1.6 and is top notch.
Yeah, get Arthurian if you like a challenge.
Vlad mod is a good one that gets overlooked.
No offense but I can't recommend IBFD to anyone. It is buggy beyond belief and they have not fixed the CTD that occurs on a certain date. A clue to the problems with this mod are in the 15 pages of bugs that are discussed over TW Center. I wish I had looked into the mod more before I wasted time with it.

As a person passioned by historicall acuracy, i would not download a mode in which the Sassanids make HORDE...

The Hegemonia City States mod looks amazing, when it comes out...
