British, French, HRE, Spain, Venice, don't know what that triskell thingy is but apparently not the scots, green thing besides venice on the campaign map (Genua?)
Scots, Byzantine, Russians, Elmos, Turks, Eggies, Danes (?),
Portugal, Poland (?), Hungary, Papacy, Horde/Timurids/Aztecs (don't know in what order)

Sounds like a job for TB666 *superman music*
England, France, HRE, Spain, Venice, Sicily, Milan, Scots, Byzan, Russia, Moors, Turks, Egypt, Denmark, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Papal state, Aztecs, Timurids and mongols.

Re: Can anyone id the faction flags?
Which one is Polish?
The one in the end of second line is only one that has some, minor similarities, but on the other hand it is very close to viking one from old medieval so this one is probably Denmark.
-
Re: Sv: Can anyone id the faction flags?
Actually the last two ones should be reversed (Mongol flag, then Timurid).

No, I think Timurids are the white ones.

Re: Sv: Re: Sv: Can anyone id the faction flags?
Well, even without commenting on the Mongol one, the three disks are definately a Timurid symbol, even if the colours used aren't very commonly encountered.
-
Re: Can anyone id the faction flags?
Timurid flag is the one with the red discs, the Mongols use the golden horde flag, it should be just an arrow and bow without the sun/crecent thing.
-
Sv: Can anyone id the faction flags?
Yeah you are probably right, mongols are white then :2thumbsup:
-
Re: Sv: Can anyone id the faction flags?
You 're not very off though. It could have been the Timurid banner, with a few changes, as Temur's personal standard was a horsetail on a gold crescent.
-
Sv: Can anyone id the faction flags?
Well I thought I had seen a pic where the white were timurids but I saw the pic now and it didn't say anything.
I'm most likely wrong, after all we haven't seen anything from either of these 2 factions.

Re: Sv: Can anyone id the faction flags?
Being a player of EU2 and familiar w/ the COAs of both the Timurids and Golden Horde in those games, I can confirm that it's definitely Horde first, then Timurids.

Does anyone recognize that Aztec banner (according to TB666)? I think they should have something similar to the Mexican flag with the eagle and snake on the cactus.
It could of course be la piedra del sol

The Great Timur Empire (Büyük Timur İmparatorluğu)
http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/t/tr!timur.gifby Ivan Sache
"Official description":
Founded by Timur Gurgani bordering the Balkans in the West, the Volga in the North, Indian Ocean in the South and Central Asia in the East
Timurids: Barlas Turkish family founded by Timur (Tamerlane), who rose to power in the mid-XIVth century in Transoxiana and spent his long reign in far-ranging and immensely destructive campaigns, overrunning Iran, Iraq, Asia Minor and the domain of the Golden Horde in Southern Russia. He sacked Delhi in 1398 and temporarily broke the power of the Ottoman Turks at Ankara in 1402. On his death his large empire in Iran and Transoxiana became divided among his descendants and shrank rapidly over the XVth century amid family quarrels. The last minor prince of the dynasty, Babur, was expelled from Farghana by the Shaibanids, conquerors of Transoxiana, and established himself at Kabul. In 1526, he defeated and killed the Lodi sultan of Delhi, becoming master of northern India and founding the Moghul empire.

The flag attributed to the Great Timur Empire is blue with three white disks placed 1 + 2 in the middle of the flag.
