One minor thing
One small feature I liked in the original MTW was the facts about a province that came up when you clicked on it. I liked how it would say for instance, "Saxony: this region is famous for producing Gothic Knights." I realize we don't have the risk board map anymore, but it could still work. This info could be displayed in the settlement scroll. I know this is not a big thing, but its one of the many small features that made MTW so cool.

Re: One minor thing
Yeah i liked that too, especially when the province wasn't too far away. I remember in MTW 1 the Jannissaries were famous from Bulgaria, which wansn't even in Turkish hands, and when you took it over you had to build a fortress, a mosque, a grand mosque, a military academy, and the spearmaker. (this was the only reason I didn't like Janissaries, they were great but not worth the trouble)
And the French province that was famous for it's Chivalric Knights had basically zero buildings in it (no strongholds anyway) so to be able to take advantage of those Knights you had to spend like 150 years building it up.

Yes, in MTW. Very good feeture, and I dowt that it is difficult for CA.

Re: One minor thing
"Minor" features like this one are what make good games into great ones. I really liked this feature, and enjoyed it even more in mods that made it more realisticly useable. Although, now that I think about it, I doubt it will be in, considering how different the units for factions are. That is to say, that this feature was a way to differentiate the French feudal knights from the British in some ways for example, however this may no longer be necessary... hmmm, so maybe I won't miss it that much lol
P.S. I feel like I had an argument with myself and won o.0

Re: One minor thing
iirc, regions that had that text gave a +1 exp bonus to units of that type that were recruited there. Both the feature and the way it was displayed (the text used) were quite neat I thought, as it gave different regions a bit more 'personality'. For instance, when playing as the English, I would try to recruit all my longbowmen from Wales (for the +1 exp bonus), even to the extent of being a bit short on longbowmen at times, while I waited for Wales to churn them out.

Re: One minor thing
Maybe in stead of getting extra experience points, you could get a larger recruitment pool for longbowmen in Wales, for example.

Re: One minor thing
Is this a starting faction ore a unlock able faction??:inquisitive:

Re: One minor thing
they are talking about the provinces (cities) there, not the factions. it meant (in MTW1) that whatever faction was there, if they recruited X unit type, it gave a +1 exp bonus.

Re: One minor thing
I liked this too. Maybe they could implement it in the city screens if not the province itself.
