Guard Mode?

:help: What is Guard Mode useful for? Ive never used it and people keep mentioning it.:help:

Guard mode tells the unit to hold formation and hold position while fighting. They won't pursue routing units which makes holding a battle line easier but they also won't try to wrap around a phalanx's flank or charge as well, I only use it when fighting defensive battles or using phalanxes.
